Starting Wednesday, January 3rd, SFS programmer Tommy Meisel will lead a series on HYPERLINK CINEMA! We'll be chatting about five films that crisscross, crosscut, and cut across themes, ideas, and characters.

Hyperlink Cinema is a style of filmmaking characterized by complex or multilinear narrative structures with multiple characters under one unifying theme (per Wikipedia).

  • Moderator: Tommy Meisel

  • Meeting Time: 6pm

  • Place: Capitol Hill Library Meeting Room

  • Where to Watch: Available for rental ($2.99) on Amazon, Apple, and Google.

As always, we encourage all of you to come prepared with notes, questions, and thoughts about the film. If something strikes you or grabs you, jot it down and let's talk about it! We're all here to improve our understanding of film so don't be afraid to chime in.
