SIFF
Beginning in 1976 with the annual Seattle International Film Festival, then expanding into year-round programming, and our five-screen SIFF Cinema, we have offered experiences that bring people together to discover extraordinary films from around the world for nearly five decades. Our audiences allow us to take risks, host complex conversations, and truly appreciate film.

NW Film Forum
A nonprofit film and arts center located in Seattle, Northwest Film Forum presents hundreds of films, festivals, community events, multidisciplinary performances, and public discussions each year. A comprehensive visual media organization, the Forum offers educational workshops and artist services for film and media makers at all stages of their development. Artist services include access to space, gear, fiscal sponsorship, grants, and an edit lab.

Washington Filmworks
Washington Filmworks (WF) is the private 501(c)(6) non-profit organization that manages the Motion Picture Competitiveness program as well as a diversity of resources for the creative industries in Washington State. WF mission is to create economic development opportunities by building and enhancing the competitiveness, profile and sustainability of Washington State’s film industry.

Interbay Cinema Society
ICS was founded by filmmakers Jon Behrens and Caryn Cline
Their mission is to provide material support for filmmakers working experimentally with celluloid film.
They support emerging and established filmmakers through the grant and our festival, and we encourage new filmmakers with our educational initiative. Their ultimate goal is to foster more work on celluloid and to help offset the enormous costs of making film work available in high quality digital formats.

Scarecrow Video
Scarecrow Video has over 130,000 titles in our library, including rare, noncommercial, hard-to-find and out of print titles, and complete collections otherwise inaccessible to the general public. Their wide range of formats means our collection is not limited to streaming technology or homogenized by commercial value: Scarecrow keeps everything on hand, just as a public library would. Over 125 years of film and cultural history from 129 countries reside within their walls.

At LANGSTON Seattle, they are driven by a profound commitment to Black arts and culture. Founded in 2016, their mission is clear: to strengthen and advance the community through the celebration and cultivation of Black brilliance.

SeaDoc
Seattle Documentary Association (SeaDoc) is a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to cultivate and support an equitable and professional community of nonfiction storytellers. SeaDoc was founded more than ten years ago by a group of independent documentary filmmakers dedicated to creating a platform for emerging and established doc filmmakers from the Pacific Northwest. We are a volunteer-run organization, offering year-round programming and events to support the craft of non-fiction storytelling.

Seattle Film Critics Society
Established in 2016, the Seattle Film Critics Society formalized an already robust network of film critics and reviewers in Seattle and surrounding areas of Washington State. The society is represented by members in print, radio, television and online mediums.
Prior to the formal establishment of the SFCS, a group of Seattle-area critics compiled the Seattle Film Critics Awards from 2014, 2015, and 2016. Prior to that, Parallax View conducted a poll of select group of leading film critics from the Seattle area for its Seattle Film Critics Awards from 2002-2004.

The Belltown Film Society
An exceptional strata of society. Screening free films every other Wednesday at The Jewelbox.
For the casual filmgoers to the most snobbish of cinephiles, come join us at the Jewel Box Theatre for free screenings of films personally curated by the Belltown Film Society. The Film Society explores films of all decades, all genres from all over the world so come stop by for an enlightened evening of cocktails, conversation, and cinema. Seattle Film Institute
Seattle Film Institute, is the Pacific Northwest’s only accredited film school, we offer career focused, hands-on undergraduate (BA) and graduate programs in Filmmaking, Producing for Film, Acting for Film, Digital Arts, Animation, Game Design, and Composing for Film and Games. Seattle Film Institute’s programs, whether on-campus, online, or low residency, are accelerated and flexible to meet students’ needs and schedules. About Us
The Office of Film + Music is committed to grow the creative economy through support and promotion of film, music and related industries, and create equitable opportunity for local creatives in their fields. It does this by developing policies and providing leadership that builds commercial markets for film and music business growth, advances safety and economic growth in the nightlife industry, and logistically coordinates permits for film and special events. While OFM extends support to multiple creative industries, the office focuses on advancing four primary sectors: film, music, special events, and nightlife.

Founded in the early 2000s by a small group of composers and audio professionals, the Seattle Composers Alliance sought to create a non-competitive community of like-minded professionals and enthusiasts. The first meetings of the SCA were much like what they are today: opportunities to discuss gear, swap stories, share knowledge and collaborate on projects.
