About the Director
Georgia Krause is an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker telling empathetic stories set within elevated realities. They attended NYU Tisch for Film Production and have worked on productions for National Geographic, PBS, and ABC. Their work has premiered at DOC NYC, Defy Film Fest, South Texas Underground, and was awarded the Founder’s Choice at San Diego Environmental Film Festival. Georgia is interested in creating work that makes the misunderstood familiar, and that dances between the edges of harsh and soft. Outside of documentary filmmaking, they are interested in mosh pits and treasure.
