About the Director

Emily Sheehan

Emily Sheehan is an award-winning writer/producer who has showcased her work at multiple film festivals internationally. In 2024, her feature film script FREIGHT was recognized by Screencraft, Scriptation, the PAGE Awards, and the Austin Film Festival (twice). She recently produced THE EVERYTHING POT with Lisa Edelstein, Gina Torres and James Wolk, which had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2024. Her previous film & television projects have included ANY DAY NOW, THE DROPOUT,  UTOPIA, WATCHMEN, and CASTLE ROCK. After living in LA for the past ten years, she has returned to Seattle to reconnect with her PNW roots and write, produce and direct work amidst the vibrant Seattle Film Community.
