Jen started her career as a photographer and photojournalist. During that time she won an AP photo award for 3rd place Feature Photo for her story on Seattle's drag community. She was also invited to participate in the Adobe Creative Jam where she won an audience favorite award. Jen's pivot into Cinematography began with the short film, Teahouse. A film she wrote based on her personal experience. She was then selected to participate in the ACTION program as a cinematography apprentice. Since then she has worked on several short films as a Cinematographer.
